TTA- An Attitude of Gratitude

Tina
Jen Desiree
Frank

Every year when I think of what I am most grateful for I list my husband and children. Seriously, I can't think of anything better in this world than them. This year however I would like to add my brother and sisters to my crew at the top of the list. They have been such a good support during this crazy year our family has had that I cannot thank them enough.

I've always described my brother Frank as the perfect eldest sibling that set the bar far too high for any of us following to reach and then is modest to boot. Then I have two big sisters who've always kept me in my place like only sisters can do. My sister Tina is fiercely loyal and knows how to gently offer beauty advice to keep me from becoming too sloppy. My sister Jen is the comedien who keeps things lively, waka waka, and is always willing to be supportive if I start to let my pants get too small. Now to all of them I add supportive and understanding to their lists.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Cute family photos. We've all always agreed that your family is gorgeous.

And freak! You've never looked sloppy a day in your life--nor have your pants ever gotten too small. You're absolutely perfectly gorgeous and everyone but you knows it!

Thanks guys. I honestly didn't mean those comments in a deprecating way, just that sisters take care of each other in their own way. You guys are sweet. Happy Thanksgiving!

It was fun to get a comment from you on my blog. I should have left you one sooner on yours. I too found you on Mel's blog and just read all about you, but didn't say "hey how are you?"
Nope did I ever think that I would have kids, bees, chickens, or live in the small town of Kanab. But love it all! It was good to hear from you and I hope that all is well with you. This summer when Mel is in town, since she seems to be our connection, we should plan a day to get together and chat and let the kids play. It has been fun to read about friends from high school. and even more fun to see where everyone is and to see their cute kids! Have a good one!

Just noticed that you recently read the Kite Runner. Did you like it?

I had no idea it was a sad book or the heaviness of the content, but I'm glad I didn't so I wouldn't have missed out on it. He's a wonderful author, I plan on reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author when I get around to reading the two books I already have waiting for me. Have you read the Kite Runner also?

The book that's awesome is The Parenting Breakthrough. It has really sensible ideas. I've only skimmed it; i need to read it & use it.
